Searching SRDS

Choose a magazine or newspaper search.

To search for magazines:

Under "Select Search Type," choose "Quick Search by Title."

Enter the title of the magazine and click "search."

Click on the magazine title to display information about the publication.

Scroll to the bottom of the right hand window to find circulation data.

Click on "media kit" to find readership demographics. This will take you to the media kit on the magazine or publisher's web site.

To search for newspapers:

After choosing to search for newspapers on the initial screen, click on Quick Title Search and enter the title of the newspaper.

Enter the title of the newspaper in the search box.

Click on the title of the newspaper in the search results to go to the full record.

Scroll to the bottom of the right hand window for circulation figures.

There may be an audience report with demographics below the circulation figures.

Click on Newspaper Media Kit to go to the publication's web site for readership demographics.
