How to Set Up Sharing in NoodleBibNoodleBib includes a list sharing feature, which allows you to monitor the progress of your students and give feedback as students share their Works Cited lists with you. LIS would like to encourage you to take advantage of this feature. Additionally, NoodleBib allows you to share those student lists with us. By viewing student bibliographies, we can assess which resources they're using to support their work in RHE 306 and use this information to improve our involvement in 398T. To do this, you will need to create a space defined by class name and share that class name with your students. Here's how! 1) If you don't have one, create a NoodleBib account or log into your existing account. 2) Scroll down to the bottom of your "My Lists" page until you see "Lists Shared with Me." On the right-hand side of the screen, click "Sharing Setup." 3) On the Sharing Setup page:
By defining LIS as an additional recipient, we will see the same lists that are shared with you by your students with you having to send us anything. Please feel free to use the list sharing feature without including us, but if you do define us an additional recipient, please let us know. You can show students that when they create a list in their NoodleBib account, they can click the box next to the list they want to share with you and then click "Share" at the bottom of "My Lists." They'll be asked to provide their name and the Class Name you've defined. |
